Oh my gosh, Jack looks so good!! I can't believe how much he has changed since we saw him. Jason and I are so happy to hear that Jack and Ella are doing well. It is so great that you get to hold them and start the wonderful bonding process with your babies. It is amazing how you just don't care about slobber or anything else that comes out of your child, I was shocked by this too. The mother child bond is one of the most amazing experiences I have ever been through, and I am so happy that you finally get to have this wonderful blessing. Please don't feel badly about the time you are missing now with David. Everyone goes through these times, but you have a loving husband that will understand, and I am sure he wants nothing more than you to be there for Jack and Ella. Jason and I find it difficult to get that adult time and as a wife you do feel guilty, but you both do the best you can. Starting out with a strong foundation is key, which I know you guys have. Hang in there and just continue to love each other and be there for one another and the rest will fall in to place. We are still praying for and thinking of you all everyday. Keep up the good work, Mom, Dad, Jack and Ella!!!! Any pics of little Ella?
Thank you so much for posting the pictures. It is one thing for you to tell us about them it is another for us to actually see them too. They are so beautiful. Again, Thank you for sharing.
WOW! So precious!!!! He looks fantastic!! Yesterday on the way home from school I was flipping radio stations. I came across a Riley-thon and started listening. The father was telling how his little girl was born as a "teenie weenie preemie" at 24 ounces. His spoke about how they held her for the first time when she was two months old. Today, she's happy & very healthy. You could just hear the joy in his voice. I think of you guys and the babies and how quickly they are growing & overcoming obstacles. What blessings!! April will be here before you know it!!! And Kristy... the slober is just the first of it. Wait until Jack pees on you! :-)
Over the past several years Kristy and I have been through the highest highs and the lowest lows. In January 2008, we were blessed with our newest twins, Jack and Ella, who were born prematurely at 27 weeks. Our fighter, Jack, weighed in at 1 lb 3 oz at birth and our princess, Ella, at 1 lb 13 oz. Through many prayers and lots of love from our friends at Riley, they are now in excellent health.
In August 2006, our first twins, Claire and Gracie, were born too prematurely at 20 weeks. We'll never forget and will always love them.

Sorry guys, I did not noticed all of the pics the first time. Ella looks wonderful. But more pics anytime is always great.
Adorable!
I missed the pic of Ella - she looks awesome! Enjoy all the slobber and scratches from their sharp little fingernails - it goes too fast.
Wow!!!! What beautiful pictures.
These little people persist to amaze me. Continuously in my daily thoughts and prayers, Karen Stearley
