Good for you! Stay positive!
Another benefit to NICU is when they come home they will already be on a schedule...the same schedule, big, big help once you are all home doing it on your own.
I don't know that NICU really becomes easy you just reach a level of understanding all the equipment and alarms going off that you don't panic at 4 weeks the way you did at 4 days.
Keep ahold of that thinking. Know that so many people are with you and that Jack and Ella are growing because you both are doing exactly what they need!
Top 10 things you're missing at work
10 13&14 year old drama
9 the chaos of 1000 kids in hallway during passing period
8 School lunch (square pizza)
7 Only about 15 minutes to eat that lunch
6 Professional Development Days (Enough Said)
5 Dr. Mike Convo. (Enough said again)
4 Students who say "I think I'm going to be sick" and then are... usually in your classroom
3 the mountain of paperwork associated with ISTEP results, assessments, etc...
2 Being the dress code clevage police
1 Parent phone calls, emails, and unannounced visits to blame you for their kid's poor grade...even though he/she hasn't turned in an assignment, followed directions, or studied a day in his/her life.
I came across this blog, and want to pass on how encouraging your story is. My cousin is pregnant for the first time with twins (boy and a girl) and has had a really difficult time. Today she went to the hospital with light contractions at thirty weeks. I just see the progress your two little ones have made and can't help but know little Jace and Jillian will be okay. Keep up the positive attitude--it means so much
