Church?

So, Kristy and I have looked for a while to find a church we like around Fishers/Carmel. Unfortunately a) we didn't find the perfect one yet and b) we didn't even think to look at how 'kid-friendly' the churches were. So... if you go to or know of one that you'd recommend, please let us know. Thanks.

We're both Christian. Non-denominational (at least currently...)

We go to Holy Spirit at Geist on Fall Creek, which is Catholic and I love it. I have friends that attend The Promise church right there on Brooks School and they seem to like it.

We really like St. Peters United Church of Christ in Carmel. I can't say I have been there in awhile because we have been going to the Catholic church in Noblesville, but it is definitely kid friendly.

Hi guys. Steve & I are members at Hamilton Hills Baptist Church (on 126th street in between Cumberland Road & Promise Road). Don't let the "Baptist" scare you. We don't handle snakes or play tamberines. We are actually opening a brand new children's wing next week. It's exciting, and it's a beautiful/very functional building for the kids. Last week was VBS, and I got to take a sneak peek. The nursery room, two year-old room, and three year-old room each have floor to ceiling windows. There are pagers for the parents to take with them to Sunday School & service so if one of the babies need them, they're easily accessible. Our church is growing, and we believe in ministering to our children and teaching them to love the Lord. We even have children service during the adult service. On the 5th Sunday of the month, there is no children service, and children come to the adult service to get a taste of it. Our children's workers are fantastic. I know I've rambled but feel free to email or call me if you have questions. Kim Rowe

Happy Birthday Kristy!! We go to St. Louis De Montford Catholic church and love it. Catholic churches are ALWAYS kid friendly and beer friendly! ;) I don't know if big Catholic families lead to drinking beer or drinking beer leads to big Catholic families...

I found your blog through Nurse Lynn's blog page. It is great to see how big and strong Jack and Ella have gotten. I have enjoyed reading your posts and seeing all the pictures. Our girls are doing well also. I do not know of any churches in Fishers/Carmel, but in Noblesville there is Open Door Free Methodist Church at 206th and Riverwood Road. It is a very nice and kid friendly church. I hope everything continues to go well for you all.

You guys should try Northview Christian Life. They are all about the children. They built a huge children's wing. They got idea's from Disney themselves. It is awesome!!!!

I second the reccommendation of Holy Spirit at Geist. We loved it there and still attend there when we can even though we are living in Yorktown.
