Pacifiers rock

Ok, I'm sure I've said all this before and all the parents' laughed "My kids won't need pacifiers and they definitely won't watch tv before age 2".

Well, the pacifier rule is out the window and I'm guessing that tv rule may get shot down too... Next thing you know we'll be cruising town in a sweet mini-van. Ugh.

Oh, and whoever said "babies sleep 20 hours a day" is full of crap. Speaking of which, maybe they meant "babies crap 20 hours a day".

omg, you are cracking me up. after having mason, i have definitely learned to never judge others for how they parent their children, and never assume you would not do the same. i can't say how many times i have said "mason will never do that", and then had to change my mind later. you never know how you will do certain things until it happens to you ;)

oh, by the way, mason watched tv for the first time when he was about 3 months old. it was only for 5 minutes, but it was the most heavenly 5 minutes.

Ha, ha! We weren't even going to have TVs in our house! Now both kids have a TV, DVD player, and TIVO in their rooms. And if you dip a pacifier in chocolate, you'll see what all the fuss is about - SO LET ALL OF THOSE 'PERFECT' MOTHERS LAUGH!;)
I'm so excited that you are getting to do all the 'mommy' stuff... Next thing you know you'll be cutting David's PB&J into butterfly wings! Don't fight it, Mommy.

So good to hear your life is getting to "normal" - don't knock the paci, Baby Einstein videos were a lifesaver and our minivan rocks - even has a DVD player. Sounds like you all are doing well. Try to get some sleep.

My babes were not sleepers either. I don't think the 45 minute break counts! Hang in there. It doesn't get better, but you adjust somehow! :)
