Pom-pa (aka Grandpa Kokoska) finally got to take Jackie out on his tractor. He tried last year when we visited the farm, but being the over-protective parents, we asked to hold off a year. In the past several months, Jack has decided that he really likes being outside and had a blast riding around with Pom-pa.

Planes and Jeeps
We took the kids to the Indy air show today. It was media day so not too many people and it's only 15 minutes down Olio. Jack, of course, loved all the planes and jeeps. Mom liked the helicopters and Ella enjoyed her showing off her independence. Plus we all were surprised when the B-17 Flying Fortress landed and taxied right past us.

Finally posing
While the trip to the formal photographer didn't work out so well, Jack and Ella have been much better at posing for us at home. They'll even hold hands for a couple minutes.

More pics...
Everything is going well in the Kokoska household. The kids are doing great and today was Kristy's last day at school. She's a bit excited and overwhelmed for the next couple summer months. We've enjoyed using the zoo and children's museum passes that the folks got us...

Out of hibernation and into the wild
The Kokoska's have finally emerged from the winter long hibernation and are loving it...
At the zoo, the kids loved the polar bear even though it scared mom and dad
but Ella didn't care much for the walrus
Ella playing handylady at the Children's Museum (she knows dad can use some help around the house)
Jack's practicing for the beek (that's his word for Jeep)
And trying the real thing
No surprise here, the kids love the ipad
Jack set a toy on Grandpa, but let him sleep
No such luck for daddy's nap
Playing on the new fort (not very green-friendly, I know...)
We finally placed the girls' stone in their garden
